La Recoleta Cemetery (Part 2)

OK, so if you stopped by yesterday you already know how much I enjoyed my short time at La Recoleta Cemetery. Please indulge me while I share a few more of my favorite photos with you.

I think this particular structure is incredibly quilt-like. What a wonderful grid! Thanks for letting me share these photos with you - I hope you like them. Please stop back by tomorrow to learn about our dinosaur discovery in Argentina!

Margaret, Thanks for your kind words about my photos. Looks like about a 16 hour flight (one stop) and you could be there! This cemetery is in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I've never seen another like it........ but I'll bet you have lots of interesting cemeteries near you, too.

Jan, your photos are just fantastic - so sharp and clear, and the composition is wonderful. What kind of camera do you use?

Tomme, Thanks for the kind words about my photos & composition. For this trip, I carried my Nikon digital D40 model SLR camera, just about the lowest end digital SLR that Nikon makes I think. It's lightweight for it's size, and I am usually happy with the quality of the photos. Here's a link if you're interested in the specs: http://www.nikonusa.com/template.php?cat=1&grp=2&productNr=25420
